Air Port pick up & Overnight stay in Negombo
You will be welcomed & picked up by our chauffer guide from Colombo International airport & transfer to Negombo for your first night stay.
Negombo is a major tourist destination in Sri Lanka. This city is an ideal and liberal place with luxury, tropical life style, for those who want quick access to and from the country’s main international airport and also to Colombo city. There are daily fish auctions, which give tourists a chance to meet the area’s fishermen, buy fish and even organize fishing trips into the lagoon and the ocean beyond.
DAY 2
Explore the greatest Ancient City of Anuradhapura
After Breakfast and leave for Anuradhapura Ancient City. Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world’s largest archeological sites.
Visit all major highlights of the Ancient city of Anuradhapura.
DAY 3
Visit the Cradle of Buddhist Civilization of Sri Lanka -“Mihintale” & Explore the Medieval Capital of the country “Polonnaruwa”
After Breakfast and leave for visit the Mihintale Rock temple. Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures.
Then travel to Polonnaruwa and visit the Polonnaruwa Cultural site.
DAY 4
Ancient Wonder-” Sigiriya Lion Rock” & Evening Jeep Safari tour of Minneriya National Park
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Sigiriya. Explore the 8th wonder of the ancient world “Sigiriya Lion Rock”
After exploring the Sigiriya Lion rock, you will have a private Jeep Safari tour to Minneriya National Park which is well known for the large herds of Wild Elephants. Apart from elephants, spotted deer, crocodiles, bird species and reptiles can be spotted in Minneriya National Park.
DAY 5
Fascinating Golden Rock Temple (Dambulla Cave Temple) & Temple of the Tooth. The Night in the Last Kingdom of Ancient Sri Lanka – ‘Kandy’
Next day Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy via Dambulla and Matale. En-route visits the Golden rock temple. Then travel to Kandy visit the Matale spice garden and Hindu temple Matale.
In Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth. View a cultural dance in evening. Kandy – The Last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad.
DAY 6
Transfer to the airport on time for the flight, En-route you will have a city tour in Colombo
Colombo is the commercial capital and largest city of Sri Lanka.
